The Euchner TZ2RE024BHA-C1903 is an ATEX/IECEx-certified solenoid safety interlock engineered to safeguard personnel in explosive atmospheres (Zone 2/22). This high-integrity device combines electromagnetic locking (7,500 N holding force) with SIL 3/PLe safety logic, ensuring machinery remains inoperable during hazardous area access. Featuring a corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel housing (IP66/IP69K), it withstands extreme conditions like chemical exposure, steam cleaning, and coastal salt spray. Integrated PROFINET connectivity enables real-time lock status monitoring, while Euchner’s proprietary Type 4 mechanical coding prevents tampering or forced entry. Dual-channel N.C. contacts provide fail-safe position feedback, making it ideal for oil/gas, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing equipment where combustible dusts/gases are present.
