The Euchner EGM12-1200C1791 is a rugged incremental rotary encoder engineered for precise position/speed feedback in demanding automation systems. Built with a hardened stainless-steel shaft and IP65-rated aluminum housing, it withstands shock (100 m/s²), vibration (20g), and contaminants like metal chips or coolants. Utilizing optical scanning with 1200 pulses per revolution (PPR), it delivers 0.3° angular resolution for closed-loop motor control. The encoder features complementary TTL-level outputs (A+/A-, B+/B-, Z+/Z-) for noise immunity in electrically noisy environments like CNC mills. Its modular design allows flexible mounting via servo flange or synchronous belt, while maintenance-free magnetic coupling eliminates mechanical wear. Ideal for servo drives, packaging lines, and robotics requiring ±0.05° repeatability.
