The Allen-Bradley 1794-TB3GS Terminal Base is a SIL 3-certified (IEC 61508) wiring interface for FLEX I/O™ safety systems, engineered for critical applications demanding maximum fault tolerance. Featuring gold-plated screw terminals with dual-level torque control (0.5–0.6 N·m), it ensures gas-tight connections for 1794-IB10S/OB10S safety modules. Its reinforced polyamide housing achieves IP67/NEMA 6 protection against harsh washdowns, oils, and chemicals (–40°C to +70°C). The dual-channel topology provides 1,500V AC galvanic isolation between field wiring and backplane, while tamper-proof covers prevent unauthorized access in safety-certified installations. Integrated diagnostic circuits detect wire breaks during commissioning via Studio 5000® LogixGuard™.
